It’s All Things Cupid & Hearts At Lindy’s

My table set for a Galentine’s Tea Party

I’ve had such fun decorating for Valentine’s Day this year! Each one that comes around I try to add to my collection. I also try to include an event to enjoy it all. This year I hosted a Galentine’s Tea for a dear friend.

Tablescape and placesetting for the tea party.

I began with the table. I knew I wanted to do a brunch and found these adorable napkins from Target that were perfect. “I love you more than brunch” was a fun way to say how dear my friend is to me. My place setting has layers of dishes. Two chargers are featured. The first one with the lace scallops is from IKEA. The shiplap one, as well as the tile place card, are from Details 2 Enjoy. The next dish with the scallop edges is from Crate & Barrel. The heart shaped dish, as well as the heart runner, are from Home Goods. On top of that is an adorable chocolate heart with bears on it from See’s Candies. The spoon with the words “cup of tea” is from World Market. The goblet is from Pottery Barn. The heart mug is from Mary Engelbreit. The checked pink napkin and placemat are from Amazon.

Tea Treat Tray

I placed all the treats and fruits on one platter. I tried to keep the colors a Valentine palette. Adding heart shaped candies and cake added to the theme. The inspiration for this I got from Ashlyn Carter. I watched a YouTube where she featured a long cutting board with treats. It was just beautiful. She has a wonderful channel that showcases her love of decor and entertaining . She also has an Instagram you can follow. My platter has raspberries and blackberries for the fruit. The blue berry scones and Madeleine cookies were from Trader Joe’s. The heart shaped chocolates ( with marshmallow and caramel) were from See’s Candies. The heart shaped cakes came from Little Debbie’s.

Brunch

I also served a Quiche Lorraine and maple sausage. A variety of teas were offered as well as a strawberry orange punch.

Tea Food

We had a lovely time chatting and eating our brunch. I love carving out these times to have with the people I love. Celebrating them and life.

Letterboards

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I love to create letterboards. Above are two I did for this holiday. The bear one features a white felt board from Felt Good Vibes. The banner and bear were created by A Peace Of Creativity. The flowers are from May Darlings. The “Up” and “Nemo” mash up board features fonts by Words With Means. The bubblegum pink felt board is from Felt Good Vibes. The house with balloons was created by A Peace of Creativity.

Valentine Bar

My bar area is always a fun one to theme. I did a “Cupid Cocktails” ( red board from Felt Good Vibes, banner by A Peace of Creativity. The flowers are from May Darlings.)

Valentine Mantel

I just got this home sign from Graceful Signs. It’s perfect for a girl like me who loves to change things out for holiday/seasons as the icons are interchangeable! This sign is so well made. I just love it and can’t wait to share the different ones I got. So many shops contributed to this look. Sprinkled Donut Studio created the Mickey shaped pie pops. The Mickey and Minnie silhouette is from Wolf and Crow Co. The flowers are from May Darlings. The heart wreath, wooden heart, carnations, and little poms are all from Target. The Mickey and Minnie wedding frame is from Shop Disney. The sconces flanking the fireplace ( as well as the chandelier shown later) are from Lamps Plus. The mirror is from Kirklands.

My entry area with shelf

The entry area has this bear my mom painted. His outfits are interchangeable for the seasons, too. The shelves next to him, I filled with a Valentine Mailbox theme.

My Valentine Coffee Bar

Mickey and Minnie are spotlighted through out my Valentine decor. The coffee bar is no exception. The mugs are from Mary Engelbreit. The various stuffed Mickey and Minnies are from Shop Disney. The tin drawers are from Pottery Barn ( people ask me often where those came from.)

My cozy corner

This last area is a favorite. I love the comfy chair. On it are some favorite pieces. The “Dreaming of The Happiest Place on Earth” pillow is from Iamginarella. The “home” pillow is from Home Goods. The stuffed Mickey and Minnie are from Shop Disney. The top shelf has a Thomas Kincade Mickey and Minnie painting. “XOXO” and pastel beads are by The Pink Hutch. The next shelf has Love sign from Wolf and Crow Co ( the next shelf also features one of theirs with the Mickey and Minnie silhouette.) On the bottom shelf the “XOXO” sign is from The White Bunny Brigade.

Above, are a few photos of a broader view of my Valentine decor. I get such joy decorating and entertaining for holidays/seasons. I hope you enjoyed this tour.

Lady seems to think Mickey is her Valentine!

Hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebrating with those you love!
