I’ve always loved miniatures. \u00a0When I was young, my mom bought me this \u00a0tiny set of cartoon characters. She said I played with them for hours and hours. This is when my love of them began. \u00a0As an adult, I love to use them to create little fairy gardens and vignettes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
The woods are full of fairies; the sea is full of fish; the trees are full of golden leaves; let’s make an autumn wish.<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n


\n<\/b>For fall, \u00a0I have several of these little vignettes. The first one is a fall fairy garden. I filled the container with soil and added small pebbles and moss. \u00a0Then the fun begins, I\u00a0love to arrange what\u00a0I’ve collected. \u00a0A fairy sign, fall trees (one lights up!) various pumpkins, a \u00a0basket filled with harvested veggies and of course, \u00a0a fall fairy \u00a0(who is perched on a pumpkin.) \u00a0I love this little scene (shopping sources listed below.)<\/p>\n

The next\u00a0vignette, has a fall scene from the Hundred Acre Wood. \u00a0I really enjoy changing out elements of this for the different\u00a0seasons\/holidays.\u00a0For the fall, Winnie \u00a0has a whimsical pumpkin house with a stone path \u00a0leading \u00a0to it. Pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns complete the scene. The little white picket fence was painted by my mom. This vignette lives \u00a0in my hallway. A quote \u00a0from Winnie, “If you live to be a hundred, I want to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you,” hangs above. (shop sources listed below).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fall in the Hundred Acre Wood<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The last vignette is a bit bigger in size. \u00a0The scene is of Cinderella about to get into her pumpkin coach. \u00a0The carriage is sitting in a bed of vines surrounded by cute little pumpkins and fall trees. Another quote (you might be realizing how much I love little quotes by now!) \u00a0says,\u00a0“Live like there is no midnight.” That is a motto I try to live by. Another way to put it is “Carpe Diem” which means seize the day! \u00a0We only go through time once, so I like to live all out and love all out. Celebrating the magic of each day…this little scene reminds me to do just that.\u00a0(shop sources listed below)<\/p>\n
