Peter Rabbit Tablescape

Peter Rabbit Tablescape

I love to host little parties. To me, two makes a party. This table is set for two friends to share a meal and a little dessert. I love collecting dishes. I use to collect full sets of them. I loved them, but they took up a lot of room. I began to just gets sets of salad size dishes and those work wonderfully with my white and glass dishes. This table has 3 different sets of these salad size dishes. The Peter Rabbit ones I got at Pottery Barn Kids. The egg shaped ones I got at Pottery Barn. The cute vegetable sayings ones were a gift to me. They came from Crate & Barrel. The white dinner plates and the scalloped ones are also from there. The bunny ramekins are from Pottery Barn, too.

The sweet floral glasses were my grandmothers. I love to use them in the spring because of the design and how delicate they are. I love bringing in family pieces to my table. The shiplap chargers are from a wonderful company called Details 2 Enjoy. The place tiles I also got from them. I often have the same people over, so it’s wonderful to have these place tiles I can use over and over again.

Peter Rabbit Fairy Garden Centerpiece Close Up

I created this fairy garden in a Peter Rabbit theme a few years ago. Most of the pieces I bought. I made the little sign for Mr. MacGregor’s Garden and the little blue felt jacket that Peter is wearing. I used soil as the filler and added moss for the garden and a little pebble walk way. The little bicycle was given to me by a dear friend. I just love it with its basket of pink mushrooms.

Peter Rabbit Place Setting

I just love these Peter Rabbit plates with the words around the rim. They bring the story to the dishes. Beatrix Potter was an incredible illustrator. Her characters always bring a smile.

Another view of the Peter Rabbit table. Behind the table you can see a Peter Rabbit pillow peeking out

The little egg dishes with paper Peter Rabbit napkins are at the ready for some dessert. This view captures the hutch behind with its little vignettes to add to the atmosphere.

Peter Rabbit pillow on bench adds to the theme

I love to have elements of the table’s theme in unexpected places nearby, like this bench. It’s fun to bring a touch of whimsy to the scene.

I get such joy creating these tables. This theme is such a sweet one. It’s fun to be transported into Peter’s world for a bit. In the months ahead, I have more themed tables and parties to share. Coming up soon are some Disney themed ones I’ve had.
